About the work
Haize is Basque for "wind". Spiky white starbursts, like seed heads with dark centres, drift across a soft cream mist alongside looser blooms in crimson and pink. The brushwork sweeps diagonally, so everything seems to lean and travel the same way. Along the lower edge the forms grow denser and darker, in blue-grey and green.
Mist and wind run through Orgánico, and here both are carried by the movement of the paint.
