About the work
Hundreds of small figures crowd an earth-coloured ground, seen from directly above. Dark smudges drift across the surface like smoke, and bright yellow patches flare between the groups. Two black bulls stand in open pools of pale colour, thin ladders rise at angles through the crowd, and a few white circles sit near the edges.
In Stolen Time the crowd reads as one body, packed close. It was shown at Art Verona in 2021.
