About the work
A warm gold ground, darkening to brown at the base, holds a crowd gathered in swirling clusters. Figures in white, grey and maroon bunch around thin ladders, pale circles and loose looping lines. A single black bull stands at the left, partly surrounded. Toward the top the ground lightens and the groups thin out.
On a large square canvas, the bodies of Stolen Time merge into shared, moving forms.
