About the work
Pink and lilac wash the whole canvas, warming to orange and deep red in the lower right. Small figures, seen from above, gather in loose bands across the middle and scatter towards the edges. Coloured rings and pale discs drift among them, and two thin white ladders stand within the crowd. A dark shape crosses the upper left.
In Stolen Time, bodies form one collective shape, close together and always in motion.
