About the work
A long line of tiny figures, seen from above, winds down the canvas from the top right, then widens into a thick crowd across the lower left. Branching pale marks follow its path over a ground of olive, grey and rust. Translucent circles sit among the walkers, and a small blue figure floats near the top.
Exodo means “exodus”. In Like a Rolling Stone the crowd usually rises. Here it moves as one long current.
About the series
“Movement, interconnected bodies, human structures that somehow make the spectator part of it. I work with layers of colour, like skin, looking for depth and almost always with ascendant movement.”
