About the work
Ilargia is Basque for "the moon". Small figures, drawn in dark ink with flashes of white, drift over a deep, even blue. Pale translucent circles float among them, some holding a figure, others empty. The crowd is sparse, with a lot of open blue between each body.
The translucent circle recurs throughout Like a Rolling Stone. Against this blue, it takes on the look of the title.

“Movement, interconnected bodies, human structures that somehow make the spectator part of it. I work with layers of colour, like skin, looking for depth and almost always with ascendant movement.”
