About the work
Tierra is Spanish for "earth". Small figures, seen from above, spread over a sandy ground streaked with dark brown. Patches of blue gather in the crowd, and a few black shapes that recall the bulls of the series move among the people. Towards the bottom the colour pales to a cool blue-white.
The earth tones belong to the early years of Like a Rolling Stone. It was shown at Art Verona with Raffaella De Chirico Gallery in 2021.
