About the work
Constelación Humana is Spanish for "human constellation". Hundreds of pale figures crowd a black ground speckled with fine coloured dots, which gather into a bright cluster at the centre. Bulls move through the crowd, translucent circles float above it, and thin diagonal lines cross the upper half.
In Luces y Sombras, light opens gaps in the dark. Here the figures themselves become the points of light, like stars in a night sky.
