About the work
Transitos is Spanish for "transits". Seen from above, figures with white shoulders and dark, smudged bodies cross a worn ground of ochre, grey and faded pink. They move in different directions, some alone, some in tight groups, and soft white dots drift between them.
In Luces y Sombras, oil and ink build crowds in black and grey. Here the light sits on the figures themselves, catching on heads and shoulders as they pass.
