About the work
A dark line divides this large square into two panels, and the growth spreads across both. Seed heads stand in a row along the top edge. Beneath them, dense foliage in deep green, charcoal and grey bursts outward from the centre, lit by flares of pale yellow and white. Tiny loops and dots in violet, pink and silver scatter through the lower half.
At two metres square, the botanical tangles of The Secret Life of Plants reach full scale.
