Agua

“Water has been with us from the beginning; we are water in motion. Its stillness is not absence, but attention.”
Agua is water without a fixed form: waves breaking, open sea, and seabeds seen from above or from below the surface, painted in intense blues. There are almost no figures. The series grew out of the collaborative water project that became Crossing Water.
Azul 1 was the lead image of Take Me to the River in Milan in 2024, and Recuerdos de Agua was shown in La Sombra de Cervantes at the Instituto Cervantes in Algiers in 2025.
